Colorado Town Starts Beard Growing Contest

The city of Craig, Colorado is a pretty small town. With a high of 27 and a low of -2 degrees, it also gets pretty cold in the winter. So when the town decided to have a beard growing contest the volunteers came out of the woodwork.

As part of the Craig Centennial Celebration, almost fifty contestants are to start clean-shaven and then grow their beard for 100 days. Judging will take place place April 21, the day Craig was incorporated 100 years ago.
