Chumby Lets You Put The Web Where You Want It
Written by NetBear on February 29, 2008 – 5:45 am -Have you ever been in an elevator at a high-tech building and seen one of those LCD display screens showing interesting news bites and information? What if you could put a portable, touch sensitive screen like that anywhere you wanted to?

Chumby is a stand-alone, compact wi-fi device that displays useful and entertaining information from the web. Unlike the screen in the elevator, you get to decide what you want it to display. It comes in three colors: Pearl (white), Latte (brown) and Basic Black.
Want to see Chumby in action? Well, here you go… Virtual Chumby! Remember, in real life Chumby has an interactive touch-screen. So don’t be afraid to mouse around on the virtual screen below.
(Warning - Live Internet content! NSFW mature themes may be presented.)
We assembled a unique mix of 25 Chumby content widgets just for Bearotic readers so you can experience some of the fun things Chumby can do. First you’ll see some (hopefully) bearish photos from Flickr.com. 30 seconds later you’ll get some interactive Muppets. Click on each of them for some “Mahna Mahna” action. If you wait around long enough and get a rather tough looking rabbit, click on him. Get it? Like Dr. Ruth says, “Just play with it.”
At $179.95 including shipping, Chumby isn’t cheap. But when you realize it has wi-fi, an LCD touch-sensitive screen, sound, video and some way cool fun content, you’ll rush on over to Chumby.com and order yours today.

Absolutely! The Chumby is a lot of fun. And you’re right that it needs more queer oriented widgets.
Hmm… How about a Bearotic widget??
