FeedDesperate Dan Made Me Like Bears

Dan is a big barrel chested cowboy who wears tight jeans and heavy duty knee length leather boots with spurs! His beard is so tough he shaves with a blowtorch.
As a kid I would flip through the pages eagerly looking to see what Dan was up to that week. His bearish big lug ways created an admiration for rugged men that set my course for an adult life of enjoying the real thing.
Somebody ate Dan’s cow pie, and now there’s big ol’ bear lurking in his closet!
Dan was so strong and heavy handed he had to make a bicycle out of steamroller parts
I always knew that Dan had a heavy duty rod! A modified crane jib was his preferred fishing instrument
Even horses were afraid of Dan!
Every so often I’ll see a guy who looks a lot like Dan. On those occasions I always have to sidle over and say hi. ;o)
