Michael appeared in the Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan and had a brief role in The Spy Who Loved Me. He tested for the role of James Bond but Roger Moore was chosen over Michael.
Michael wore a beard for many of his roles and is seen here looking very bearish as Daniel Fogarty in the Onedin Line.

Although Michael is no longer with us he was superb in UFO and will always be remembered in that tv series as fantastic eye candy. Such a hunk and handsome devil. Sadly missed.

Not fussed as to whether he’s a bear or not. Years later I now understand why I got so excited whenever he was in a string vest or other less clothed appearances (sauna scene yes please!) in UFO. Very handsome, hairy and sexy.
