FeedAll California Couples Are Finally Equal

Moments ago the California Supreme Court ruled in favor of California LGBT people, declaring that each of us has the freedom to marry the person we love.
This is a landmark victory for our community. It’s a victory for fairness and justice. And it’s an incredible victory for California—a land of opportunity. Today, for the first time in history, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Californians are truly equal. California bears finally have the right to marry their cub.
The court’s decision becomes final in 30 days unless that period is extended by court order. Also the lower courts in California have a few procedural steps to complete. But very shortly, exact date to be determined, same-sex couples will be able to marry in California.
