Gerard Horan Transforms From Cute Cub To Classic English Hunk
Written by BignFuzzy on May 26, 2008 – 5:20 am -You’ve probably seen him in movies ranging from My Beautiful Laundrette (1985), to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. British actor Gerard Horan has been around for a long time. Here he is on the right with Keanu Reeves in the 1993 movie from Kenneth Branagh entitled Much Ado About Nothing.

A nice looking young bear we hear you say? Sometimes time has a way of changing our perspective on someone. Wait and see how this man has aged.
Growing older has a way of taking a person on a journey of evolution and change. We found photos of Gerard from a 2007 episode of the popular British Doctor Who sci-fi series. Like the evolving Time Lord character he played along side, Gerard has transformed. Fourteen years later and he has turned into a fine handsome daddy!

If you like your men on the portly side you’ll love the new Gerard. Very sexy. While he does the proper English gentleman so well, he looks pretty good just as himself too. Here he is mingling with Kenneth Branagh (left) and Jimmy Yuill (middle). In the inset photo you can see another angle of that beautifully fuzzy smile.

In 1987 Horan joined the Renaissance Theatre Company for the production of Branagh’s own play Public Enemy. At that point Horan began working regularly with Branagh. He played in Look Back in Anger, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, King Lear and Coriolanus. He also appeared in Branagh’s films Much Ado About Nothing as Borachio - and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein as Claude.
Do you crave more Gerard? (We do!) Here are some suggestions from Amazon.

Men become ETERNALLY more intersting the older they get. And in about 99% of the cases, get fucking sexier. Gerard - HOLY CRAP - I’ve seen that Dr. Who ep, and he looks so much fucking sexier here. Thanks for posting. Um…delish British!

Dear Lord! I remember having a huge crush on him on “Much Ado About Nothing.” I did not know that he had evolved into an even sexier daddy bear! Very sexy indeed! I definitely agree with Steve about men and aging.

If you can find an ITV (Independant TeleVision -UK commercial station) production called ‘Doc Martin’ in an episode in ,I think, series 2 Horan plays a Cornish fisherman who has found an interesting way to liven up his (straight) sex life, with sometimes painful results. Two-thirds through we get to see what he and his wife have been up to. If I ever find a way to copy it, you’ll get to see it!
