Spanish Artist Keko Illustrates Bear With Flair
Written by NetBear on June 3, 2008 – 5:00 am -It is always intriguing to see how each artist can present a common theme in their own unique style. We are pleased to introduce Diego Vera, also known as Keko.

All of Keko’s imagery has humor and a lighthearted feeling to them. You won’t be able to help smiling at his inspired drawings of bear men. My favorite is the smiling fur ball about to brush his teeth.
Bearotic is fortunate to be able to present a variety of Keko’s work, ranging from rough sketches to finely produced works of art. All of them showcase his unique artistic signature.
Born in 1977 in Barcelona, Diego began his study of applied arts at Pau Garagallo Badalona in the beautiful Arenys de Mar region of Spain. He soon extended his studies with a parallel course in graphic design. In 2002 he began working in animation, building character designs and illustrations. He now creates illustrations for the gay themed magazine, Zero. Currently his work also includes the world of special effects, creating fantastic characters for cinema productions.

It is inspiring to see an artist change and evolve over time. We look forward to see what Keko will imagine next. See the depth of his recent movie character designs at his blog.
