Yotto Bano’s “Fresa Osuna” Makes Modern Street Art Big, Furry And Bearish
Written by NetBear on June 7, 2008 – 5:00 amYotto Bano from Barcelona has recently installed a new art project entitled “Fresa Osuna”, which took place at the walls of Market-Club.

Melding bearish imagery with street art, this artist transcends the bear motif into a whole new realm. And Yotto does a lot more than just street art. His caricatures and edgy belly art will intrigue you.

It takes a lot of time, energy, sodas, paint and inspiration to create a mural of this complexity and detail.

Forget cherubic little angels. In Yotto’s world angels have beards, mustaches and furry chests.

These two stylized bears are clearly happy to be with each other.

His caricatures have a blocky, Warhol-esque aspect to them.
Yotto’s artistic expression isn’t limited to static paint and ink. In his recent Laws Of Fashion photograph he makes a large, furry fashion statement by writing “Dolce & Gabbana” on the stomach of a chubby, hirsute model.

This belly writing piece breaks the fashion laws while taking a stab at Dolce & Gabbana’s svelte models by declaring that the big belly is beautiful too.
Yotto combines an eye-catching mix of street smarts with his love for bears. This is one artist on the edge we’ll be keeping our eye on. Watch his blog Ursulalala for updates.
UDPATE! Yotto created a special custom graphic for Bearotic. Very cool!
