FeedKathy Griffin Shoots Her Woz With Bear Models
Written by NetBear on July 15, 2008 – 5:39 am -It’s well known that comedian Kathy Gifford Griffin loves “her gays.” So it was a natural that she’d get cozy with the bear community at some point. Shortly before she did a gig for IBR at the historic Castro Theater she did a photo shoot for A Bear’s Life Magazine that has been the talk of both Tinseltown and the blogosphere.
Looking like a piece of sushi all rolled-up in the bear flag, Griffin kept everyone at the photo shoot cutting-up. But guess who she dragged along to impress the bears? Apple co-founder, Kathy’s former boyfriend and billionaire bear Steve Wozniak.
If you’ve ever watched Kathy Griffin: My Life On The d-List you’ll know that she can be a little… taxing at times. But that’s all part of her charm. She is the diva. She is supposed to be the center of attention. But she may have bitten off more than she can chew when she landed in a magazine shoot with a bunch of half-nekkid bear models.
“OMG big furry man-chest! Grrrr!!”
The bear models at the shoot have to wait for Kathy to change. Before she left the scene she quipped, “I have to go change my bottom. You guys know what I’m talking about.”

Hmm… A “Griffer” sammich with hot, furry bear bread!
“That’s it! That’s exactly what I want.” says the shoot director.
“It’s not often that you pose with a model who is completely greased-up, hairy and musky.” Kathy gets herself a hand full o’ fur and holds on for the ride!
Kathy pulls the model’s chest hair a bit… But he says she can pull as hard as she wants.
The Woz gets into the act. “You’re in my neck of the woods now!”

After the photo shoot Kathy takes her posse to go visit the Bear Maul. It turns out to be a shopping adventure. While the group strolls around looking at porn, whips, nipple rings and other paraphernalia a muscle bear in chaps walks over and asks Kathy for her autograph.
Kathy of course asks, “Where can I do it?” Striking a pose that impressed the judges, the bear in chaps turns around, bends-over and shows Kathy his fuzzy bare butt.
But the show must go on. Kathy mumbles, “Alright… here we go…” and takes to writing her autograph on those furry cheeks. Oh, the perks of being a celebrity.
Photos of Kathy Griffin are only half as good as video cuz you don’t get all that witty repartee. So here’s a video of the photo shoot to clue you in to comedy that went on there.
Need another blast of the Griffin-ator? Here’s Kathy talking to Jimmy Kimmel about her show. Around 5:30 she starts talking about her photo shoot for the Bear’s Life Magazine. Kimmel says, “This is the group I would be in.”
Great segue from Kathy to Woz, eh? Well, we’ve got so say that Kathy and Woz are a cute couple. We hope they get back together.

I agree with NYCBull. The whole fact that there are magazines like “A Bear’s Life” and how mainstream the Bear label/identity is nowadays is really annoying. The sad part is that what passes for a Bear nowadays is just a nelly twink that grows some facial hair.

If you don’t get her humor or if you take her attitude seriously, then you’re not going to have a good time.

Griffin’s humor sucks and she’s not funny at all. Margaret Cho is actually queer, very funny, and not so old and burnt out like Griffin is.

Man, you guys are bitter as hell. “They’re not real bears” or “why do you need to go mainstream” or “we invented the concept of bears and you’re not allowed to use it.” Wow.
