FeedLazy Bear Weekend Goes Celestial
Written by BignFuzzy on July 30, 2008 – 12:28 pm -This year’s Lazy Bear Weekend will be a little different. Usually we have Pyro’s bonfires, a great opportunity to go back to our roots and gather around the fire under the stars, all very primal and tribal.
Harry and Pyro tried their best to promise a controlled environment within which to make the bonfires safe. In the end though, California’s Department of Parks and Wildlife has issued a ban on open fires due to the shear amount of wildfires we’ve been having.
All is not lost though. Take away the element of fire and you’ve still got air and water left. Hush Hush Sweet Smokey is gonna be held at the same estate that hosts Sunday Furry Sunday, right across the street from the old Fife’s. There’s a pool for dippin’, a bar for sippin’, lotsa bears for grippin’ and a sky full o’ stars for trippin’.
Just bring along your swimsuit and towel, a flashlight and what/whoever you like to use to keep yourself cosy. Sounds like nocturnal bliss to us, and you still might bump into one or two old flames 
Hopefully the lovely Pyro will be back with his fiery fun next year!
