James Frey Checks Facts For Gawker

The folks at Gawker.com got a new intern last week. It was none other than famed and disgraced author James Frey. We wouldn’t take much notice were it not for James’ decidedly woofy beard and a Bearotic fan dropping us a line about his internship.

Frey, the Author of A Million Little Pieces and Bright Shiny Morning, became the subject of controversy when The Smoking Gun alleging that Frey fabricated large parts of his memoirs, including details about his criminal record. He went on Oprah and she yelled at him.
