Reality Check: The only time we will completely earn the respect of the straight world is when we become “straight” just like them.

Respect is earned through hard work. You don’t get it handed to you for acting like everyone else. Betraying who we are and why we are special would only take us one giant-step backward.
Personally I think it’s strange that people think sexuality is so taboo and “dirty” in America. Thankfully that attitude is fading with each generation.
