Coachella 2009 Lineup Announced
Written by NetBear on January 31, 2009 – 12:55 pm -In what is looking like another ultimate lineup of bands and musicians, the performers for Coachella 2009 were announced.
Paul McCartney headlines the first day with Morrissey and Franz Ferdinand. On Saturday The Killers will take the stage along with Amy Winehouse and Thievery Corporation. And on the final day The Cure takes the crowd on a farewell ride preceded by My Bloody Valentine and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
All we can say is “WHEW!” And that doesn’t even include all the other great acts the crowd is going to get to enjoy this year. Visit the Coachella Lineup page to see them all.

Watch For Zombies In Austin
Written by NetBear on January 31, 2009 – 6:31 am -Next time you’re driving down the road you might see a flashing road sign that says something you don’t often see.
Monday in Austin, Texas vandals broke into a road sign, changing it to say, “The end is near! Caution! Zombies ahead! Run for cold climate!”
With web sites listing the instructions for how to do this kind of hacking, there just might be rash of Zombie Attacks across the country sometime soon.

Coraline is about a girl that walks through a secret door in her home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life –- only much better. But when this new world turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents try to keep her forever, Coraline must find a way to get home and save her real family.
This film was made using stop-motion techniques like the famous Tim Burton holiday classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. So Coraline has that warm and unique charm that only real hand-crafted miniature sets, props and characters can instill.
