FeedSimon Pegg’s Scotty Revealed In Star Trek Trailer
Written by NetBear on March 6, 2009 – 10:38 am -Today a new Star Trek trailer went live. We finally get a good look at Simon Pegg playing a youthful Scotty. Here he is courtesy of the roving Bearotic eye!
Other imagery from the film are revealed as well including more of Eric Bana as the villain Nero, Kirk and Spock of course, and a scary planet implosion.
Nero is of course up to no good.
Eric Bana’s Nero is probably saying, “Grrr! I’ll get you Kirk!”
Flying past the Golden Gate Bridge to an ultra-futuristic San Francisco cityscape. Can you find the dome of the Palace of Fine Arts? And thank goodness they preserved the wetlands at the Presidio’s Crissy Field.
The relationship between Kirk and Spock begins.
A planet begins imploding after it looks like a scary new weapon is used on it.
Kirk sits in the captain’s chair for the first time. Hold the boat! Who’s the goateed Security Bear holding his belt on the right? Too bad he’s obviously an expendable character!

Yeah, what’s with the ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ moon boots?
Maybe ‘L’il Kirk’ base jumped onto the bridge,
and Spock’ll land on the poor security guard- the first red shirt of many to die under James T. Kirk’s command.
I’ll find out opening day.

i always loved these star trek uniforms. you really need a good body to fit those payama;s and still look good.

Check out Simon Pegg in ‘Run Fat Boy, Run’. The locker room outtakes with his face in his cast member’s crotch are fun and hot!!
