Where The Wild Things Are — In All Of Us
Written by NetBear on March 18, 2009 – 5:15 pm -Both creepy and endearing, shots from Spike Jonze’s much-anticipated live action film of children’s classic Where The Wild Things Are, continue to trickle in.

A new movie poster for the film paints a picture that seems to match that of out author Maurice Sendak’s illustrations of a hulking beast who’s so big he can’t fit on the poster. That’s convenient for those trixy marketeers who don’t want to show how the monsters look quite yet. The film releases October 19th.

Once again, something the bears have known for a long time now:
There one in all of us.

Oh man, I just read this book in my childrens lit course. It is banned from Texas school systems because the boy yells at his mom in the beginning of the book. I hope that line stayed in the film adaptation.
