FeedThree Stooges Casting In Final Stages

Sean Penn will be the furry-headed Larry. Jim Carrey is going to gain 40 pounds to play Curly. And Benicio Del Toro will play the maniacal Moe. At least, that’s what MGM wants to happen according to Variety.
The film won’t be a biopic, but rather a comedy built around the antics of the three characters that Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard made famous the world over in their Columbia Pictures shorts.
Certainly Jim Carrey has the wackiness to be Curly. But can Penn and Del Toro fulfill their comedic roles?

That is just about the worst casting I think I have ever seen. Hopefully that cast never gets the green light.
