Father From Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
Written by NetBear on July 30, 2009 – 10:22 am -The new 3-D animated movie coming out from Sony looked kind of goofy in the preview. In Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs an inventor makes food fall from the sky like rain. But then the father character caught BigNFuzzy’s eye.
Now if that ain’t the stereotypical masculine bloke, I don’t know what is! With big furry eyebrows and a bushy mustache that puts Tom Selleck’s to shame, this is one dad we really want to see in 3-D! Come September 18th we’ll have our chance.

La Roux Is Electropop With A Red-Haired Swoop

Annie Lennox in the Eurythmics… Alison Moyet in Yaz (Yazoo in Europe)… Andy Bell in Erasure… They’re all favorites. But now I have found my new British-electro-sensation. After hearing La Roux live in San Francisco, I’m hooked!
La Roux, French for “the red-haired one,” is a fantastically appropriate name for this duo made up of flame-haired singer and synth player Elly Jackson, and co-writer/co-producer Ben Langmaid.
Their music is filled with nearly raw synthesizer tracks. You hardly hear any digital mixing effects whatsoever. When people hear them live, they’re awestruck at how closely the group’s live music matches what you hear on their albums.
