As mentioned in last week’s brief article/press release about the new Turk+Taylor Pop-Up Shop, San Francisco now has a very cool place to buy some very cool socks. It’s no secret that the SF Menswear Examiner is somewhat obsessed with footwear - some fancy, some burly and some rather utilitarian - so it should come as no surprise that when he is alerted to the existence of some heretofore unheard of footwear over which to obsess he does so promptly. It is an independently owned shop specializing in screenprinting and leatherworking and focusing on hand-crafting, local sourcing and working in the most earth-friendly way possible. Hence the title borrowed from TransAction’s bio, “Eco-friendly, fresh, and indie.”

With the 4th of July weekend and the weather being about as fine as it gets around here, the idea of cruising around on a bicycle sounds very appealing.
