FeedBearracuda Three Year Anniversary This Saturday
Written by NetBear on August 10, 2009 – 11:20 am -Just a couple of weeks after Lazy Bear in August of 2006, the guys behind Bearracuda decided to start their own little bear party. Now, on August 15th they are celebrating three great years of Bearracuda at Deco!
Since then they have expanded to quarterly parties in Seattle and Portland as well as a one-off bash in New Orleans this October. They have also had three great parties at DNA Lounge, brought the best in bear DJ talent to the club and got voted “Best of the Bay” by the Guardian in 2008 and 2009. Well done, lads!
On Saturday, August 15th Bearracuda brings back their co-headliner from the massive Friday night IBR ‘09 party: Tony Ruiz. Tony will be flying in from Pennsylvania to play from 12AM-3AM while those furry and fun resident DJs Medic and Boyshapedbox kick off the night at 9PM
At 10:30pm they will have a short but very sweet show by local SF talent: Fruitbomb, Hoku Mama Swamp, Glitterella and Glamamore. And upstairs their flyer photographer, Eric Nielson, will be taking pics of the festivities while our hunky masseur, Donovan, takes care of your sore muscles.
Bearracuda SF is located inside Deco at 510 Larkin @ Turk. Smoking on the patio; Hot and Cold snacks in the pool room, Heavy Petting all over. Every 1st & 3rd & 5th Saturday of the month. $8 all night
