Berlin played the Napa Town and Country Fair. The band was tight and Terri Nunn’s vocals were as strong as ever. When one attends such an event with the world famous DJ Rotten Robbie amazing things can happen. Rob ended up scoring backstage passes so we could have a little meet and greet with Terri Nunn. She was gracious and lovely. The man in the green Wuvable Oaf shirt and Goorin Bros. “Ass” hat, on the other hand, got a little tongue tied and red-faced. Oh well, such is life.

Mad for Plaid
Way back in March my debut article for Examiner.com touched on the co-opting of workwear by high-dollar labels. What was then a mere bud has blossomed into a full blown trend. Workwear, in general, and that staple of the workwear wardrobe, the plaid shirt, has been fully latched onto and is currently being paraded around as the thing to for men to be seen in for this Fall.
