Bear Tube: Valentine’s Hand, Inmates MJ Tribute, Trucker Potstickers, ManCrunch Superbowl
Written by NetBear on January 30, 2010 – 1:23 pm -
They’re back with a wacky Valentine’s Day ad for their handy jar opening pads with the provocative name. Sadly, this one doesn’t star the same bearded guy.
The Dancing Inmates of CPDRC are back with a tribute to Michael Jackson. This time their dancing looks better than a lot of music videos you see these days. No wonder, because MJ choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid flew to the maximum security prison to personally teach the inmates.
TheGayTrucker is home with a head cold and decides to make himself some potstickers (Chinese dumplings) — from scratch. Yum!
We don’t know what all the fuss is about with this ManCrunch SuperBowl commercial. This kinda stuff happens all the time at bear football parties.

Out And About: Pregnant Bear, Joe Mannetti On The Radio, Timberlake Pudding, Pasdar Fastar, Bye Betty, Lizard Pants
Written by NetBear on January 28, 2010 – 12:15 pm -
Is it real? Or is it just a big belly? The world’s second pregnant man and his partner, who would appear to both be bears, say that they are blissfully happy about giving birth to a boy next month.
International Daddy Bear Joe Mannetti did a guest spot on Terry LeGrand’s The Alternative on TalkRadio Los Angeles talking about prejudice in our own community, even today. Go Joe!
Justin Timberlake looks kinda cute all scruffy as he is named Man of the Year by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

Heroes star Adrian Pasdar was busted for DUI according to TMZ. When you saw this photo didn’t you think Joaquin Phoenix grizzly? I sure did.
ABC has informed Ugly Betty producers that this will be the last season of the show.
Is that a lizard in your pants? Or are you just happy to see me?
Steve Jobs’ retaliation was swift after McGraw-Hill CEO Terry McGraw’s loose lips prematurely announced the iPad the day before it was launched.

Even supermodels are getting into the facial hair thing. Drag superstar RuPaul gets unwigged by AfterElton. Check out that goatee action. Work it RP!
“Daddy” is a new play that opening at the TBG Arts Center Mainstage. You can get special $10 pricing for the first week of this limited engagement. Use discount code DTT281 from 1/28-2/1 at SmartTix.

Apple iPad Brings Media Computing To The Masses
Written by NetBear on January 27, 2010 – 11:52 am -Today Apple announced their new tablet computer, the iPad. With it’s 9.7-inch touch-sensitive screen, it’s like a cross between an iPhone and a MacBook, but with a very different focus than it’s predecessors.

It’s not just a tablet computer. It’s not just a big iPhone. The iPad is a new consumer product that ties everything the average person might want to do on their digital desktop into an attractive, user-friendly and portable package.
Like the iPod, the iPad is intended to fill a gap for consumers where no product has yet to fill the nitch. It is a media hub for entire family, putting movies, photos, games, applications and all kinds of digital media right in your lap, where ever you might be.

New Year’s Resolutions Going OK?
Written by NetBear on January 27, 2010 – 8:54 am -Artist Don Chooi (NSFW) reminded me, with one of his recent hunky gym daddy images, to think about how my New Year’s Resolutions were going.

I’m still going to the gym and I’m still eating right. Of course, if I had eye candy like this guy to inspire me, I’d probably go more often. WOOF!

Man Seeking Man Becomes Awkward And Tragic
Written by NetBear on January 27, 2010 – 5:26 am -In this great big world. Not everyone can live an open lifestyle. Some guys can have a whole life behind them before they realize that something is missing. In the Finnish film, Man Seeking Man, Asko Sahlman plays Seppo, a big bearish 50-year-old guy, who places a personal ad looking for the company of men. At first it seems like your typical first encounter foreign film.

But Seppo isn’t at all experienced with men. He’s both nervous and excited waiting for his first caller. When a young man knocks on the door, Seppo does not realize that it’s not the man that answered his ad. It’s his son, who he hasn’t seen in 20 years. Things get awkward and tragic at the same time. Seppo finally realizes what has happened, only too late.
It’s pretty heavy stuff and a little disturbing. But that’s the thing about good cinema. It’s supposed to bring out all kinds of emotions in the viewer. It won the GRAND PRIX at the International Film and TV School Festival 2005 in Lodz, Poland.
