The forty year old film star was snapped on the beach in Barbados yesterday enjoying a warm and sunny start to his New Year after spending Christmas skiing in Aspen and a New Year’s in New York.
The CGI effects from the 300 movie can not protect you now, Gerard. Your PR firm’s Jedi mind tricks will not work. Were you just sucking your belly in for the other pictures we have of you? We have found your true furry belly!
Take it off. Reveal your true belly!
That’s it. Let it all hang out, buddy!
Wait! Don’t leave. You forgot to take off your trunks.
Are those stretch marks, Gerard? Or have you just been getting flogged?

It was only three years ago that Gerard was the hunky Spartan in 300 whose rippling CGIed torso caused more than one muscle loving bear to swoon. But you can bet that Gerard’s PR team will spin this somehow. I’m sure he is just putting on the weight for his next film role.
But frankly, though we do like to poke fun at a situation like this, we find it very refreshing to see a handsome man like Gerard just being himself and letting it all hang out.

What a shame. Muscles suited him well. Now he looks like a dumpy frat-boy.
