FeedCoraline Fantasy Movie Releasing To DVD July 21st
Written by NetBear on July 17, 2009 – 3:44 pm -Henry Selick, the visionary animator of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, adapted Neil Gaiman’s creepy novel about a bored girl escaping to another world through a closet door. But in Coraline, be careful of what you wish for. The other side of the looking glass isn’t a very nice place to be.
Whether the camera is sweeping through an audience of appreciative Schnauzers or ogling the bazoombas on a pair of old Shakespearean thespians (voiced by the delicious Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders), the stop-motion 3-D is jaw-dropping. Dakota Fanning’s Coraline is a resilient rapscallion, matched by Teri Hatcher’s gleefully vicious turn as Other Mother. Coraline is so rich and compelling, black buttons would have to be sewn over our eyes to keep us from seeing it again.

Enter mobile photographers Rich and Ray.
Based out of Sacramento, California, this duo travels statewide doing photography that covers a full range of portrait and photojournalism. But it was their “men’s photography” that gave us pause to take a second look.

DJ Rotten Robbie has a holiday present for us all. He’s just finished two hot holiday mixes that will help keep you dancing and bopping through to 2009.
We’ve got the track list and download links for you to get these mixes that include artists like Goldfrapp, Au Revoir Simone, Elvis Presley, Lenka, Petula Clark, Miss Piggy, Morel and even Stephen Colbert.

It also features Allison Janney, Craig Robinson, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Lake Bell, Sarah Chalke, Jenifer Lewis and Nicole Parker.

Ridley Scott’s Andromeda Strain Premieres

This weekend the A&E network will premiere a made for television remake of this sci-fi classic, executive produced by brothers Tony and Ridley Scott. Yes, THAT Ridley Scott of Alien, Gladiator and Blade Runner fame.
Written by Michael Crichton, The Andromeda Strain story is science-fiction techno-thriller at its best. A satellite crash-lands near a small town, unleashing a deadly plague that kills virtually everyone except two survivors. The film version became a cult classic. How will Ridley’s remake compare?
