I’m in search of a new sensation, on the verge of a revelation.
The cover track, Take It From Me, starts the album off with a new style for the singer. You immediately realize that this ain’t your daddy’s disco music. It’s fresh and modern. When the second track, Chargin’ Me Up, kicks-in, you’ll know it’s time to dance — this track has a catchy and driving electronic beat.
Though the album releases tomorrow you can preview the whole thing right here!

Written by NetBear on November 24, 2009 – 5:25 pm -
Elijah Black’s music video Smile For Me was nominated for TOP TEN BEST OF 2009 on Logo/MTV network. Congratulations, big guy! Now let’s send Elijah to the top by voting for his video right now!
Quick! When’s the last time you backed-up your phone? Gizmodo has a great guide for how to backup any model Smartphone.
Did you notice that Rich Morel released another Pink Noise Podcast at the end of October? It’s amazing how this guy picks such great dance music. It sure energized my morning.
There’s a new iPhone worm out in the wild that targets only jailbroken iPhones. So if you’re one of those uber geeky bears, you’d better change the default password of your SSH utility. And if you understand what that means, then you probably already know about this threat.
Better watch where you do your smoking. Two people in different parts of the country claim that their Applecare warranties were voided due to secondhand smoke.
Boy to get banged up again? Boy George to join Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.
Rihanna’s new album Rated R is $3.99 on the Amazon.com MP3 site! Oh yeah… And the same for the new Adam Lambert album too.
Yes, Levi Johnston is finally naked. Some photos from Playgirl got leaked. He’s sporting a little scruff. But the Bearotic eye is not impressed.

Lost Patrick Cowley Album To Be Released
Written by NetBear on October 1, 2009 – 12:57 pm -In San Francisco, during the age of the ultra butch Castro Clone look, there was a disco soundtrack coming out of every gay bar in the neighborhood. And some of the most memorable music was coming from San Francisco synthesizer whiz and producer Patrick Cowley. Now, years after his untimely death, a long lost album from this artists is going to be released.

Recorded between 1976 and 1979, Catholic isn’t your daddy’s Patrick Cowley disco. It is a genre-bending concept collaboration between Cowley and vocalist Jorge Socarras that ranges from minimalistic proto-techno to synth-driven post punk. This was wildly experimental music for its time.
The original album master recording for this album resurfaced in 2008 when former Megatone Records co-owner John Hedges moved to Miami. Local San Francisco DJ, Ken Woodard found it in the basement when helping Hedges move his record collection.
Catholic will be released in stores for Patrick Cowley’s birthday on October 19th, 2009. Pre-order the album from Amazon.com now.

Susan Boyle Sings Wild Horses
Written by NetBear on September 15, 2009 – 9:53 am -The first thing I thought when I heard this track off of Susan Boyle’s upcoming album was, “Babs!” Am I right?? Give it a listen and tell us what you think.
The photo is from when Susan was mobbed as she arrived at LAX airport to sing ‘Wild Horses’ on the finale of America’s Got Talent. Also set to perform are Shakira, Leona Lewis and many more. The show goes out on NBC this Wednesday (16th) at 8pm EST.
You can pre-order Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed A Dream album at Amazon.com.
Boyle, a 48-year-old church volunteer from West Lothian, Scotland, quickly rose to global fame out of nowhere after her moving audition on Britain’s Got Talent when she beautifully sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserables.” Her follow-up performance — “Memory” from the hit musical “Cats” — received rave reviews.

Whitney Houston Album Wows The World
Written by NetBear on September 9, 2009 – 9:32 am -Proving that it was well worth the wait, Whitney Houston’s long-awaited new album I Look To You debuts at No. 1 on several charts across the world, including the US Top Albums and R&B Album charts, according to Nielsen/Soundscan.

With 304,801 units sold within the first week of release in the US, this marks Whitney’s biggest first week sales of her career and the best selling first week by a female artist this year! Houston’s No. 1 position extends across the globe and claims the top spots in Canada, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
Led by the dual release of the album title track and “Million Dollar Bill” at radio, coupled with presale promotional campaigns on Amazon.com, QVC and iTunes, and a heavily promoted appearance on Good Morning America, the chart-topping result marks the official return of “The Voice.”
And the critics agree! The New York Times boasts that Whitney “re-emerges with full diva qualifications,” USA Today said: “Strong, confident and ready, she clearly hadn’t forgotten how to sing imbuing the material with emotional power.” The Washington Post cites I Look To You “hits all the right marks” and the Associated Press states “the pop queen still has a dazzling voice that can leave you spellbound.”
The spell will continue next week when Whitney Houston launches the 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show with a two-day event, inclusive of what Oprah calls “the best interview I’ve ever done,” and an emotional performance of “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” that had “grown men and women weeping in the aisles” according to Oprah’s recent Twitter post. “The Oprah Winfrey Show: Season Premiere: Oprah And Whitney Houston – The First Interview” airs Monday, September 14, 2009. “The Oprah Winfrey Show: Season Premiere Part II: Whitney Houston’s Show-Stopping Surprise” airs Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
