Astro Boy Reboot Coming In October
Written by NetBear on March 24, 2009 – 1:49 pm -As a young pup one of my favorite cartoons was Astro Boy, Tetsuwan Atomu or “Mighty Atom” in the original Japanese series. During each episode I’d happily watch the plucky robot boy save the world from evil doers.
In those days the animation was flat and primitive, though still inspiring. Now there’s going to be a modern day reboot of Astro Boy from the animator of Flushed Away.

Imagi Animation, the studio behind TMNT last year, is developing this animated film which is based on Osamu Tezuka’s manga series. Astro Boy will arrive in theaters everywhere on October 23rd this year.
