Matthew Temple Moves Heart, Mind and Spirit With His Music
Written by NetBear on June 17, 2008 – 4:51 am -
Music can be an extremely potent influence on our lives. With only a few words, with only a few notes, a powerful piece of music can move our mood and soul into a completely new emotional state of mind.
But even the most emotional and moving music can still fall flat without an inspired performer to emote and deliver those feelings. This is where talent becomes a requisite factor in the delicate and often elusive musical equation.
While watching a music video from Matthew Temple on YouTube, I found myself being drawn-in by elegant and poetic words, warm instrumental arrangement and a simple yet candid performance. Though it was his first attempt at filming a music video of this type, A jealous Heart struck a chord with me. This is an artist whose finely crafted words and music will tell you a story and pull you into the experience.

Spanish Artist Keko Illustrates Bear With Flair
Written by NetBear on June 3, 2008 – 5:00 am -It is always intriguing to see how each artist can present a common theme in their own unique style. We are pleased to introduce Diego Vera, also known as Keko.

All of Keko’s imagery has humor and a lighthearted feeling to them. You won’t be able to help smiling at his inspired drawings of bear men. My favorite is the smiling fur ball about to brush his teeth.

When asked about Paul Rutherford, Frankie say, “He was Liverpool’s Nureyev, the George Harrison of it all.” Yeah, he sure was cute.

Artist James Gobel Goes On A Bear Hunt
Written by NetBear on March 25, 2008 – 3:03 pm -Creating his works from a mix of felt, yarn, fabric and paint — James Gobel’s paintings celebrate the unsung sensuality of heavyset men.

Like most young artists, Gobel was able to discover his calling only by first collecting a bunch of stuff he wanted to look at. That stuff turned out to be pinup magazines featuring large men: Bear, Bulk Male, Heavy Duty, American Bear, American Grizzly, Husky and The Big Ad.

Tom Fort Asks: Where Are You?
Written by BignFuzzy on March 21, 2008 – 4:00 pm -Tom Fort is a handsome German bear who writes and creates his own music. Check out his Bearotic cuteness in this music video.
Tom sings, “So tell me my girl, where are you?” But we have it on good authority that he’s really singing “So tell me my Gurrrrll, where are you?” Much gayer, thank you!

Written by NetBear on March 20, 2008 – 5:49 am -The first time I saw one of Darren Engleman’s sketches something caught my eye. It wasn’t just the sensuality of a hairy male nude. There was something else — something deeper.

Looking more closely I found a hidden world of detail, pattern, abstraction and beauty.
