Cazwell New Album Streamed On His Blog
Written by NetBear on April 29, 2009 – 8:06 am -The first time I heard Watch My Mouth I couldn’t stop moving to that beat. Cazwell’s music is a ridiculously fun mix of electrified dance music and old school hip hop — the perfect example of the new spirit of pop music. I couldn’t wait to hear more.
Now Cazwell is streaming his new album, Watch My Mouth, at his blog.

Says Caz about finally unleashing the album onto the masses:
I wanted a CD that you could just play the whole thing through at a house party. From working so many parties in New York, I definitely took on that ‘good times’ mentality and just to make sure there is something for everyone I decided to put in additional remixes at the end of the album.
Watch My Mouth releases Spring 2009. Hear it now!

Written by NetBear on January 18, 2009 – 8:29 pm -Bear artist Neil Bruce (NSFW) will be showing some of his works at The Gay Erotic Art Fair this weekend at The Center in New York city.

In this day of political correctness it is not easy for artists who create erotic and passionate art to find a forum to exhibit and sell their work. The Gay Erotic Art Fair should prove to be an exciting exhibition of leading artists who draw, paint, illustrate and photograph men and women from an erotic perspective.
A preview Cocktail Reception with open bar opens the event on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 7PM-9PM. Admission is $20. Art will be available for sale at this time. The Fair continues on Saturday, January 24, from 12PM-8PM (FREE), and Sunday, January 25, 12PM-6PM (FREE).

Libeartad And The Graphic Exploration Of Hair
Written by NetBear on December 3, 2008 – 5:52 am -Hair means a lot to most bears. We’re a very tactile group of men. We love putting our hands through another man’s fur. We enjoy looking at it. A new emerging artist from Paris has been quietly doing his own research, exploring the relationship we have with hair through the artistic medium.

In the textured-rich world of Libeartad men are scruffy, furry and full of emotion under the surface. Like the fine art of the Renaissance era, his portraits glow with a spirit that moves the viewer.

Opus Alive And Well And In Bed
Written by NetBear on November 5, 2008 – 12:40 pm -When cartoonist Berkeley Breathed announced the end of his popular Opus comic strip fans became horrified. They got worried that their favorite flightless character had been deep-sixed. Not to worry.
“Jumpin’ Jehosphat,” Breathed told The LA Times via e-mail, “Tony Soprano sleeps with the fishes, which is to say, dead. Opus sleeps with a bunny in a feather bed, dreaming of a more hopeful tomorrow morning.” Opus is just dozing, not dead.
Most fans saw the above image when they viewed the final “Opus” online at the Humane Society. But others were worried when the story took place in an animal shelter setting and that Opus was being put to sleep (so to speak) in the pages of “Goodnight Moon,” the gentle nursery classic.
We can all rest easy now that Breathed has clarified that Opus is just resting easy.

Brent Marr Draws Fine Detail Into Every Hair
Written by NetBear on October 27, 2008 – 5:08 am -Sketch artists produce a particularly amazing kind of art. With just a pencil and paper they can bring to life scenes from their imagination that allow the viewer to step into the scene. Artist Brent Marr has a particular talent with this medium, using his pencil to define bears, blue-collar men and furry masculinity.

In Nap Time a furry muscular bear relaxes on a bed intending to have himself a nap. Wearing just a ballcap and jeans, we get to enjoy each stroke of Brent’s pencil that meticulously illustrated each hair on the sleepy bear’s torso.
