Ice Road Truckers Heat Up The History Channel
Written by NetBear on July 13, 2008 – 5:03 am -We love getting tips from Bearotic visitors. When Toni recommended we check-out this reality show on the History Channel it sounded like just the kind of thing we’d like to learn more about: big, furry, hot truckers with larger-than-life personalities.

You’ve got to be pretty brave to be to haul a huge 18-wheeler up a road made from a giant frozen lake in one of the coldest places on earth. Ice Road Truckers introduces some big, burly REAL men that put the pedal to the metal for us.
Meet the man they call The Polar Bear and watch some icy videos…

Little Mosque On The Prairie Has Bears To Spare
Written by BignFuzzy on May 19, 2008 – 2:34 pm -If you live in Canada or can receive CBC television then you might have seen an interesting series called Little Mosque On The Prairie. It’s a comedy about the lives of a Muslim community in the prairie town of Mercy. It is perhaps a little too “edgy” for some. But hey, there’s some nice bear eye candy to look at and we’re always up for some of that!

You’ve got L to R, Neil Crone, Carlo Rota and Manoj Sood, all playing totally different types of characters but with one thing in common: Fuzzy chops and a high cuteness quota. Oh yeah, that’s two things.
Take a closer look at these bearded actors and the characters they play…

Let The Bear Take You There On Bearskin Airlines
Written by NetBear on April 15, 2008 – 6:32 am -If you ever need to travel in the vicinity of Nothern Ontario you might have a bear-branded option available to you. Bearskin Airlines offers more than 100 departures daily to 16 destinations in Ontario and Manitoba.

The company has gone bear crazy, using bear terms like BearMail for their mailing list and Bear Essentials for their FAQ. While it sounds like a bear club gone wild, you probably won’t get served ale by a steward bear in a kilt. But you will get the opportunity to paw through Bear Country, the company’s in-flight magazine.

Trailer Park Boys And Big Furry Randy
Written by BignFuzzy on March 2, 2008 – 6:00 am -Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian TV series focusing on the misadventures of a group of trailer park residents, some of whom are ex-convicts. Shot from the cameraman’s point of view (à la COPS), the show had a brief airing on BBC America but is otherwise barely known in the US.

Apart from the “trailer trash” comedy at the heart of the show, we at Bearotic are particularly fond of the character known as Randy, played by Patrick Roach. Randy is a hunky bear who seems proud to display his ample hairy belly at any opportunity.
