Another recently released clip from the Star Trek movie shows a bit of Karl Urban playing the young Doctor Leonard “Bones” McCoy. The good doctor gets agitated taking a shuttle and receives a stern talking-to from the attendant.

Karl Urban as Leonard Bones McCoy - I may throw up on you.

I may throw up on you…

I have to say… Urban seems to be channeling some of the Bones mannerisms pretty well. See for yourself.

New Star Trek Movie Get MPAA Rating

Written by NetBear on April 3, 2009 – 5:42 pm -

Today Paramount announce that the new Star Trek movie received an MPAA Rating of PG-13 for sci-fi action and violence and brief sexual content. They also trickled-out a few more still photos to whet our appetites.

Kirk And Spock Face Off In Star Trek

What do you want to bet that it is Kirk who demonstrates the “brief sexual content.” Spock is too young to go into Pon Far, right? Above young Kirk (Chris Pine) faces off with Spock (Zachary Quinto) as red lights go off. Another emergency to deal with. It’s probably Nero (Eric Bana) entering their space.

Paramount recently released an updated web site for the new Star Trek movie, and it is awesome. Imagine navigating the halls of the new Enterprise! Here’s a new poster image of Eric Bana as the evil Nero. We still don’t know if he’s Romulan or not.

Eric Bana As Nero In the new Star Trek Movie

You remember Eric Bana and his big codpiece from the Boleyn Girl movie? It’s hard to believe that it’s the same actor, eh?

You can download Wallpapers of these posters at the official site. I heard that there are hidden Easter Eggs and all kinds of goodies there.

New Star Trek Movie Enterprise First Look

Written by NetBear on November 14, 2008 – 2:32 pm -

It’s going to be a Star Trek kind of summer when the new Star Trek movie releases. Until then Trekkies will have to be satisfied with some still shots from the newest chapter in Federation history.

Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto from Star Trek 2009

Since the new movie takes place well before the original Star Trek series in the time line the entire cast got recast with fresh, new actors. Above we have Chris Pine as James T. Kirk. No, he’s not a captain yet. And it’s easy to identify Spock played by Zachary Quinto, AKA Sylar from TV’s Heroes series.
