Western Union Has It All Wrong With Chubby Guy
Written by NetBear on March 2, 2010 – 11:03 am -When Western Union in the UK ran this ad showing a chubby bearded guy who got a too small sweater as a gift, I bet they thought everyone would rather have cash as the “better gift.” That is, until the bears got a hold of it.

Ask most guys that we know and they’d MUCH RATHER have the cute bearded guy than cash any day. A bear in the hand is worth two in your… Well, you know!
Kudos to BigNFuzzy for finding this.

Bear Tube: Kevin Smith Vents, Cinematic Titanic, Nanny Queen, Record Crotch Kick
Written by NetBear on February 18, 2010 – 1:15 pm -
Kevin Smith needs to get some things off his chest about the Southwest fatty thing. He can’t go out of the house right now because of the media crews stalking him. So he needed to vent via video someplace.
Proving their superiority over the mediocre sci-fi movie, the Cinematic Titanic folks lambaste The Alien Factor.
Gay dads, do your kids ask “Judy who?” Oh, the shame! Help is just a click away with The Nanny Queen from Varla Jean Merman.
Bet you didn’t know there is a World Record for a Kick to the Groin. How about 1100 pounds of force in a single kick to the family jewels? Owie…

Kevin Smith Has Drama On Southwest Airlines
Written by NetBear on February 16, 2010 – 12:01 pm -We really love Kevin Smith. And he was absolutely hilarious at both MacWorld and the IBR SModcast in San Francisco. But when he got ejected off a Southwest airlines flight home, we have to wonder what the deal was.

Kevin makes a fat face.
After he created a bit of drama canceling his appearance at IBR and then reconfirming it (it was all Malcolm’s fault according to Smith), we kind of knew that there might be some drama going on there. Little did we know it might develop into something like this.
Read Kevin’s account and blow-by-blow Tweetcast…

Man Seeking Man Becomes Awkward And Tragic
Written by NetBear on January 27, 2010 – 5:26 am -In this great big world. Not everyone can live an open lifestyle. Some guys can have a whole life behind them before they realize that something is missing. In the Finnish film, Man Seeking Man, Asko Sahlman plays Seppo, a big bearish 50-year-old guy, who places a personal ad looking for the company of men. At first it seems like your typical first encounter foreign film.

But Seppo isn’t at all experienced with men. He’s both nervous and excited waiting for his first caller. When a young man knocks on the door, Seppo does not realize that it’s not the man that answered his ad. It’s his son, who he hasn’t seen in 20 years. Things get awkward and tragic at the same time. Seppo finally realizes what has happened, only too late.
It’s pretty heavy stuff and a little disturbing. But that’s the thing about good cinema. It’s supposed to bring out all kinds of emotions in the viewer. It won the GRAND PRIX at the International Film and TV School Festival 2005 in Lodz, Poland.

Bear Tube: Santa Attack, Deliverance Santa, Toilet Santa, Superhero Santa
Written by NetBear on December 21, 2009 – 12:49 pm -
When a mob of Santas attack, you’d better watch out. If you’re not in the mood for Christmas, this is what it seems like. Wait for the cute bunny at the end!
Santa makes a visit to a hillbilly household and gets “encouraged” to make with the plasma TV. But the big bubba likes the way he eats ‘dem cookies.
Santa gets mighty constipated from all that milk and cookies. Once he’s gotten some satisfaction, you’d better hope that your letter isn’t within grabbing distance if he runs out of toilet paper.
In this primitive cartoon Superhero Santa and his sidekick Rudolf battle the evil drug dealing snowman, Fros-T. Reminds me of early Southpark. NSFW
