Elijah Black’s video Smile For Me debuted at #7 on LOGO. That’s awesome! Elijah wants to tell you, “It was really a thrill watching this and you should have a lot of pride because you helped me get on TV. I really hope to move up the ladder this week.” Keep that click-love going strong and let’s get Elijah to #1 by voting again!
Dance music duo Pet Shop Boys have been busy getting together some symphonic tracks for their new album. According to their web site, “There are only two tracks on the album featuring an orchestra. Generally it’s more electronic-sounding than the last album.” While visiting their site you can also get a one minute taste of a forthcoming track, “I’m in love with a German film star” produced by Pet Shop Boys.

Cub alert! Some fans contacted us extolling the cubbish charms of actor Kyle Bornheimer. E-Online says he’s one of the stars you’ll love from the new fall lineup. Could it be because Kyle is so often shirtless, showing-off his furry chest? Check him out in Worst Week on the CBS Monday night comedy lineup.
Rosie O’Donnell is returning to television as host of a variety show revival. NBC will air Rosie’s Variety Show as an hour long live special the night before Thanksgiving. If things go well NBC plans to expand the show into a full series.
Are you ready for Halloween? Here are some ideas for recycled costumes that will blow away the competition. We especially like the Samurai Costume with Hello Kitty on the helmet made from Rubbermaid 32-gallon garbage cans and rubber stoppers.

Out And About: Runway Romance, Gay Batman, Hairspray, Brent Marr, Kathy Griffin Assistant, Why John Barrowman Is Gay
Written by NetBear on July 28, 2008 – 5:48 am -
Looks like there’s been some lovin’ going on behind the scenes at Project Runway. Towleroad confirms that a romance has bloomed between Daniel and Wesley, two (gasp) male contestants. Unfortunately Wesley got axxed in last night’s episode. Hmm… Maybe Daniel did a little sabotage under the sheets?
Think about it… Two guys living together, unencumbered by wives or girlfriends, with only an aged butler for company. Was Batman and Robin an undercover homosexual relationship? Pink tights here we come! Read about when Batman was gay.

Get ready for some more Hairspray! According to Variety John Waters is writing a treatment for a sequel. Just please, PLEASE no more John Travolta, OK? If you can’t find a proper drag queen to play Edna it just isn’t worth the effort.
Over the years artist Brent D. Marr has had crushes on bus drivers, store clerks, teachers, his dentist and a few of his Mom’s boyfriends. He’s translated those experiences into awesome sketches of “the guy next door.” Read his interview at The Complete Bear.

Rumor has it that Kathy Griffin’s long-time assistant Jessica Zajicek has quit. So much for the Pocket Goldilocks… We think it’s time for Kathy to have a gay assistant on Team Griffin. Any volunteers?
Torchwood star John Barrowman took a series of tests to determine why he’s gay for a documentary entitled, “The Making of Me.” In it he concludes that, “It was the way I was born. So I embrace it. Because it’s who I am. It’s what I am.” Airing last night in the UK, the three part series of science specials attracted 3.8 million viewers for part 1, beating out Big Brother.

Vintage Comic Book Homo Eroticism
Written by BignFuzzy on March 22, 2008 – 5:50 am -Take a look at these vintage comic book images we uncovered:

These are from a comic book rendition of the “Story Of King Solomon’s Mines.” With a name like H. Rider Haggard it seems like the author was writing between the lines.

Bearded bearish muscular men? Sucking things up? Tearing off their clothes? We thinks there were some fantasies being expressed here, don’t you?

Desperate Dan Made Me Like Bears
Written by BignFuzzy on March 19, 2008 – 8:05 pm -Desperate Dan first appeared in Dandy, a British comic in 1937, and continues to this day. Dan is a big barrel chested cowboy who wears tight jeans and heavy duty knee length leather boots with spurs! His beard is so tough he shaves with a blowtorch.

As a kid I would flip through the pages eagerly looking to see what Dan was up to that week. His bearish big lug ways created an admiration for rugged men that set my course for an adult life of enjoying the real thing.
