Harrison Ford Gets Waxed For Our Planet
Written by NetBear on May 25, 2008 – 6:54 am -It’s always been easy to fall for the scruffy looking nerf herder, Harrison Ford. From his first macho role in American Graffiti, to Han Solo and Indiana Jones, Harrison’s fuzzy good looks have always given him a fan base in the bear community.
Now the actor has also endeared himself to the green community in a recent commercial by calling attention to global warming and the destruction of the rain forest. In the video 65-year-old Ford winces in pain as a strip of hair is ripped from his chest. Cubs, avert your eyes. This is not for the faint of heart! Fur goes flyin’!
You’ve got to give the man props for putting himself out there for an environmental issue this way. The actor sits on the board of directors of the Washington-based environmental organization, Conservation International.
Now I’m just waiting to see if that pelt of waxed Ford fur shows-up on EBay! Nope. Nothing yet.
