That’s the famous Flashdance bear on the left and DJ Rotten Robbie on the right.

Bearracuda IBR UnderBear Dance Today

Making a special guest appearance will be DJ Rotten Robbie. This is Robbie’s last bear dance before he heads down to spin the closing party at Bear New Zealand and at Mardi Gras week in Sydney. Good luck down South Robbie!
Joining him from 9pm-3am is our resident DJ from Bearracuda Seattle: Freddy, King of Pants! Freddy played the IBR UnderBear party last year and they’re very happy to have him back.

Bear Essentials From The Harbour City Bears

Their Bear Essentials is Australia’s largest gay event for bears and cubs! And now in its 14th fantastic year, Bear Essentials is an official Mardi Gras event.
Bear Essentials 14 - “Between The Flags”
Bear Essentials has been running for fourteen years now, and each year they aim to send their guests home with a smile on their faces. Many local Sydneysiders take the whole week off work just so they can attend all the events, or hook up with international travelers visiting Sydney.
They have some “old faithful” events that return year after year. But in 2010 they intend to spice things up with new events and special guest DJs from both interstate and overseas. US DJ Rotten Robbie, famous for playing the Lazy Bear pool parties, and Melbourne’s Rob Gilbert (Beyond) head the impressive line up of 7 DJs from 5 countries.

Kylie Bears Make A Splash At Local Concert
Written by NetBear on October 1, 2009 – 1:30 pm -Kylie fever swept over San Francisco as droves of fans flocked to her first local concert. Among them were the absolutely luminous Kylie Bears.
Local DJ Rotten Robbie organized a group of bears to wear white and deck themselves out in white battery powered LED lights for Kylie Minogue’s first concert night at the Oakland Fox Theater. The effect was quite stunning, as acknowledged on Kylie’s blog.

SWEAT At IBR In 10th Anniversary Year

Saturday night Castrobear and XDelmar present SWEAT featuring DJ Blaine Soileau (Lazy Bear, Sanctuary). The party is from 9:30PM - 3:30AM at Fat City, conveniently located just around the corner from the Lone Star, at 314 11th Street @ Folsom. $20 advance, $10 with IBR Pass.
On Sunday Castrobear teams with Gus Presents for SWEAT at Sanctuary with DJs John LePage and the legendary Tracy Young. Dance all night long from 10PM until 8AM the next day at 1015 Folsom @ 6th. Advance tickets are $20 or $30 at the door.

We’ve got the track list and download links for you to get these mixes that include artists like Goldfrapp, Au Revoir Simone, Elvis Presley, Lenka, Petula Clark, Miss Piggy, Morel and even Stephen Colbert.
Robbie says: “In 2006 I made 500 physical CDs. In 2007 I went strictly digital and had 1,500 downloads. Let’s see if we can continue to triple the numbers in 2008. Help spread the love! HO HO HO!”
