Facebook iPhone App To Get A Major Update

Today developer Joe Hewitt, who’s responsible for Facebook on the iPhone, posted a note describing some of the new features that will soon appear in an update to the app.
New features include:
- The “new” News Feed
- Like
- Events (including the ability to RSVP)
- Notes
- Pages
- Create new photo albums
- Upload photos to any album
- Zoom into photos
- Easier photo tagging
- Profile Pictures albums
- A new home screen for easy access to all your stuff, search, and notifications
- Add your favorite profiles and pages to the home screen
- Better Notifications (they link to the comments so you can reply)
- Quickly call or text people right from the Friends page
- Messages you are typing will be restored if you quit or are interrupted by a phone call

Entertainment can mean a lot of different things to different people. So we do our best to present a wide variety of topics, events, artists and media. And since we think a little retail therapy is the best kind of entertainment, Bearotic also features products and services that lets you bring the experience home and into your lifestyle.
Bearotic was created by a couple of media-hungry bears who wanted to build an all-inclusive, light-hearted and low-stress place to share what’s fun, amusing and even hawt. We love finding things in this big, beary world to to present to you. But if you come across something that you want to share, we’d love to hear about it. Just click on that Contact link at the top of every page and send it on down.
What do we aspire to each day at Bearotic? Here are a couple of reasons why we’re a little different than your average bear site:
- Keep it simple — These are bite-sized portions of bear content. So got a few minutes? Come on over and find something fun, amusing and (err… um…) stimulating.
- Leave something to the imagination — While we are Bearotic we are also work-friendly. You’ll never see any full-frontal nudity on this site. There’s MORE than enough of that available on the Internet already. Instead we want to be more subtle about things. We’ll even do our best to tell you when links outside the site are Not Work Safe by placing “NSFW” near the link.
- Don’t get too serious — We do our best to keep a sense of humor at all times. If we stumble on to a little wit, all the better. Life’s too short to not have some fun every single day!
- Diversity — We want a site that appeals to the entire world wide bear community. As you may have noticed from the many faces that appear in our logo, our bear sense is both diverse and strong. There are lots of different types of bears. We believe that all of them are part of our community. If you think that you’re a bear, then you are!
- Find the best stuff out there and…
- Produce some of our own great content.
