Following a picture perfect launch from the Kennedy Space Center Sunday evening, space shuttle Discovery is racing toward the International Space Station for its planned rendezvous and docking at 5:13 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.

Was this just a publicity stunt to make Joaquin look more bad-ass? The whole incident seems a little suspicious — especially since Casey Affleck was in the audience recording the whole thing. But apparently Casey is doing a documentary on Phoenix’s musical career.

Jack The Bear Was Lone Protester In Florida
Written by NetBear on November 17, 2008 – 1:19 pm -Over the weekend there were protests all over the world to protest California’s Prop 8 and to support Marriage Equality. But as reported on Towleroad, there was just one lone protester at the city hall in Fort Myers, Florida.
Jack, a handsome smiling polar bear, showed a sign saying, “Now do I get to vote on your marriage?” Jack had this to say:
Not much of a turnout in Ft Myers. I was the only one there at city hall. I did represent though.
