Glee Season Premiere Tonight On FOX

Written by NetBear on September 9, 2009 – 11:45 am -

Were you a drama or glee club geek in high school? Yeah, that’s probably most of us. While growing up and coming out in our teen years we all looked for something to be good at. FOX’s new musical comedy series, Glee, is sure to bring back some fond memories, or at least tickle your funny bone.

Glee Season Premiere

The one-hour pilot took America by storm this summer as an optimistic high school teacher tries to transform a school’s Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of them all: Nationals.

When you watch and hear the amazing vocal performances in Glee you will wonder what Broadway musical this show came from. Pay close attention to the a capella background music too. It’s hilarious.

Tonight the official Glee first season begins at 9/8c only on FOX. Watch full Glee episodes on Fox On Demand.

Absolutely Fabulous America Series Being Made

Written by NetBear on March 10, 2009 – 7:01 pm -

The British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous is being remade by FOX for American audiences. Dlisted caught Kristen Johnston and Kathryn Hahn as the LA-based Patsy and Edina on the set of the new series earlier this week.

Absolutely Fabulous America Remake

The original Patsy and Edina are not amused. But the original comedienne who played Edina, Jennifer Saunders, will act as executive producer on the US version.

This is the second time America has tried to remake Ab Fab. The first, with Roseanne Barr and Carrie Fisher, failed to get past the pilot stage. ACK! Can you imagine?? Let’s hope this new attempt does better.

King Of The Hill Canceled (Again)

Written by NetBear on October 31, 2008 – 4:21 pm -

The animated comedy featuring beer-swilling Texans might be through. The trade papers are saying that FOX has opted not to renew its long-running, Emmy-winning animated series King of the Hill.

King Of The Hill Canceled

TV’s second longest running primetime animated program, after only The Simpsons, will reach its end after 13 seasons and nearly 260 episodes.

But wait… There’s hope. You see, FOX has canceled King of the Hill before, only to give the series a last-second reprieve. There’s apparently a long history of FOX canceling animated series and then changing its mind later on. That happened to both Family Guy and Futurama.

But for now word is that the show’s staff was notified on Thursday that this latest batch of episodes will be the show’s last.
