Playgirl is no more. The magazine that brought beefcake into the lives of shuttered gay men and the average American household will no longer be available in print after the January/February 2009 issue. After that it will become an all-web publication. But it’s nice to know that somebody cares enough to keep the memories alive.
If you see someone rocking with their iPhone they might be writing the next pop music hit. Soon the first iPhone music synthesizer software will be released. Beats the $999.99 “I am Rich” application.

The 2008 Summer Olympics have begun in Beijing. The opening ceremony show wowed the world with multimedia techno-wonder. Now we just have to wait for the more Bearotic events and athletes to happen. Shotput bear Christian Cantwell is a great reason to watch the Track And Field events.
There are some new screen shots from Star Wars: The Clone Wars available for your perusal.

George Lucas says, “No Harrison Ford, no Indie…” So much for Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt Williams taking the reins of the franchise. It’s no wonder. Harrison was/is so much cuter. And, yes, that hot otter in a Speedo is an early image of a fuzzy Harrison Ford. If it strikes your fancy, Here’s another one.
Musician Sting gets shaved at the intermission of The Police’s final concert at Madison Square Garden. Hey! Mind the face.
Margaret Cho is all about the bears… As if there was ever any doubt! Here she is in a video from True Colors Tour 2007 talking about gay men and body image. “We should all be more like the bears…”
