FeedWolverine Sequel To Be Even Steamier
Written by NetBear on August 24, 2009 – 5:32 pm -Speaking of steamy, Oh LA LA quotes Hugh Jackman saying that the upcoming sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine will feature a much steamier version of Wolverine than before. We’re not sure if this means more homoerotic bathtub scenes or what.
Christopher McQuarrie will write the script for the upcoming sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. McQuarrie will be responsible for adapting the storyline from the 1982 Wolverine comic book mini-series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller that was hinted at briefly in a post-credits sequence in Wolverine. McQuarrie is no stranger to the X-Men universe, having done an uncredited re-write on 2000’s X-Men.
The sequel will delve into the Wolverine’s inner torment as he battles his animal instinct and head-strong moral code while seeking to make his way as a samurai warrior in Japan. There will of course be a whole new lot of mutants for him to battle.

Wolverine: The Most Homoerotic Superhero Movie?
Written by NetBear on May 7, 2009 – 10:25 am -Writer Tim Stack says he “sees the gay in everything.” In a recent article on Entertainment Weekly he proposes that X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the most homoerotic superhero movie ever.
Stack goes on to say that:
- “The gorgeous Hugh Jackman is shirtless for a good portion of the film — he even has a naked fight scene!” Oh, my…
- “Wolverine’s job as a lumberjack allows him to wear gay-friendly (!?) tight jeans, leather jackets, and flannel shirts, unbuttoned to reveal more than a hint of chest hair.” Shocking!
- “The big sparring between Wolverine and Sabretooth really comes down to two hot guys basically clawing each other with their fingernails. Catfight!” SNAP! You go girl.
Sounds to me like Mr. Stack might not exactly be a Zero on the Kinsey Scale. Know what I mean?

The copy says, “My power to regenerate might be top secret but my ability to re-energize is simple. Milk has protein to help build muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to help you refuel. So, eat right, train hard and drink lowfat milk. That’s just common mutant sense.”
Why do I suddenly crave… Milk, white tank tops and whisker nuzzles? Mmmm… That’s some star selling power!

This new footage helps to establish how the bitter rivalry between Wolverine and his arch nemesis Sabretooth got started.
The two characters start out as friends. But over time the relationship sours, taking them both into a downward spiral of hate and revenge. No wonder they end up fighting so much.

There are some hot fight scenes with both Hugh Jackman as a freshly christened Wolverine and Liev Schreiber as a not-so-bushy-yet Sabertooth. Yum!

Hugh Jackman To Host The Oscars
Written by NetBear on December 14, 2008 – 11:23 am -He sings, dances, and acts on stage and screen. Now this first-time Oscars host is going to shake-up the Academy Awards show. Hugh Jackman, the sexiest man alive, will host the 81st annual Academy Awards on February 22nd.
Producer Laurence Mark and Executive Producer Bill Condon announced in a joint statement, “Hugh Jackman is a consummate entertainer and an internationally renowned movie star. He also has style, elegance and a sense of occasion. Hugh is the ideal choice to host a celebration of the year’s movies – and to have fun doing it.”
Australia star Hugh Jackman responded saying, “Thirty years ago when I was in Sydney watching Johnny Carson host the Oscars with my family, I never imagined that I’d one day have the chance to be up on that stage myself! I am very grateful to the Academy for giving me this opportunity. And, excited to be working with Larry and Bill on what I know will be a fun and memorable celebration.”
Let’s just hope that Hugh scruffs-it-up for the show!
