Out And About: Little Britain USA Updated, Wolverine Images, Elijah Video Debut, Pet Shop Progress, Cub Kyle Bornheimer, Rosie O’Donnell Back On TV, Recycled Costumes

Written by NetBear on October 4, 2008 – 5:10 am -

Little Britain USA Characters HBO has finally released the Little Britain USA section of their web site. There’s lots of fun things to see, download and do at this new mini-site including ecards, desktop wallpapers, buddy icons, meet the characters and more! A must see for all Little Britain fans!! You can even get Andy to keep you updated on Twitter!

Next summer the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie will be hitting theaters everywhere. In celebration of that fact Abduzeedo has published the ultimate collection of Wolverine Images.

Elijah Black With Shirt Off Elijah Black’s video Smile For Me debuted at #7 on LOGO. That’s awesome! Elijah wants to tell you, “It was really a thrill watching this and you should have a lot of pride because you helped me get on TV. I really hope to move up the ladder this week.” Keep that click-love going strong and let’s get Elijah to #1 by voting again!

Dance music duo Pet Shop Boys have been busy getting together some symphonic tracks for their new album. According to their web site, “There are only two tracks on the album featuring an orchestra. Generally it’s more electronic-sounding than the last album.” While visiting their site you can also get a one minute taste of a forthcoming track, “I’m in love with a German film star” produced by Pet Shop Boys.

Kyle Bornheimer Shirtless Cub alert! Some fans contacted us extolling the cubbish charms of actor Kyle Bornheimer. E-Online says he’s one of the stars you’ll love from the new fall lineup. Could it be because Kyle is so often shirtless, showing-off his furry chest? Check him out in Worst Week on the CBS Monday night comedy lineup.

Rosie O’Donnell is returning to television as host of a variety show revival. NBC will air Rosie’s Variety Show as an hour long live special the night before Thanksgiving. If things go well NBC plans to expand the show into a full series.

Are you ready for Halloween? Here are some ideas for recycled costumes that will blow away the competition. We especially like the Samurai Costume with Hello Kitty on the helmet made from Rubbermaid 32-gallon garbage cans and rubber stoppers.

Out And About: Music Video Vote, Douglas As Liberace, Mr. Sulu’s Wedding, Ben Cohen Loading, Butt Bandit, Rookie Hooters

Written by NetBear on September 21, 2008 – 5:27 am -

LOGO is asking viewers to vote for their favorite musical artists to help them select which music videos to run. Some of the hottest Bearotic artists are right there including Elijah Black with Smile For Me and Ron Morris with We All Sleep Alone. Please give our furry friends a vote! It only takes a second.

Logo Channel Click List Elijah Black Ron Morris

Liberace According to the Variety Michael Douglas will play Liberace in a biopic about the flamboyant entertainer being done by Steven Soderbergh for Warner Brothers. In an equally interesting casting event, Soderbergh is in discussions with Matt Damon to play Scott Thorson, who sued Liberace in 1982 for $113 million in palimony, claiming he was the entertainer’s companion for five years.

George Takei tied the knot with his boyfriend Brad Altman in Los Angeles last Sunday. Nichelle Nichols — who played Uhura — was their “best lady” and Walter Koenig — who played Chekhov — was the best man. William Shatner was invited, but never replied, so wasn’t expected.

Ben Cohen Is Loading In The Rear When visiting UK rugby hunk Ben Cohen’s web site one must take in the new Flash based gallery where a poorly placed “Loading” indicator is squarely centered in on Ben’s butt. So if you still have dial-up can look at it for hours and still not get bored. Mmm… Loading…

There’s a Butt Bandit in the town of Valentine, Nebraska. No, it’s probably not what you’re thinking… Some guy has been going from one business to another in the dark of night, pressing his naked behind — sometimes his groin, sometimes both — on windows. The horror!

San Diego Padres Rookies In Hooters Outfits The San Diego Padres decided to dress-up their rookies in Hooters outfits and parade them around as part of a hazing ritual. Looks like the rookies went the safe route and wore their jockstraps underneath those slightly tight hotpants. Well, it beats some of the other hazing outfits that those crazy baseballers have used.

When A Richard Is Really Just A Dick

Written by NetBear on August 23, 2008 – 5:06 am -

We know it’s gonna be a treat when Del Shores sends us something. And of course, this was no exception. We all had a good laugh watching this video. So we figured you might enjoy watching it too.

We’ve all been in a situation where a handsome romantic interest seems too good to be true. And when that perfect guy shows his true colors you suddenly realize why he’s not the catch you thought he once was. Does that sound familiar? ;)

Here’s Olivia Newton-John as the character Bitsy Mae Harling from Sordid Lives: The Series singing You Look Like A Dick To Me.

I think we’ve got a new catch-phrase for guys who are pretty on the outside but aren’t so nice once you get to know them. By the way, have you been watching Sordid Lives: The Series? It’s a scream!

Matthew Temple Moves Heart, Mind and Spirit With His Music

Written by NetBear on June 17, 2008 – 4:51 am -

Matthew Temple Sitting On Train TracksMusic can be an extremely potent influence on our lives. With only a few words, with only a few notes, a powerful piece of music can move our mood and soul into a completely new emotional state of mind.

But even the most emotional and moving music can still fall flat without an inspired performer to emote and deliver those feelings. This is where talent becomes a requisite factor in the delicate and often elusive musical equation.

While watching a music video from Matthew Temple on YouTube, I found myself being drawn-in by elegant and poetic words, warm instrumental arrangement and a simple yet candid performance. Though it was his first attempt at filming a music video of this type, A jealous Heart struck a chord with me. This is an artist whose finely crafted words and music will tell you a story and pull you into the experience.

Fuzzy Alex Backstage At The NewNowNext Awards

Written by NetBear on June 10, 2008 – 5:00 am -

Someone at Logo made the mistake of sending furry Alex from After Elton a backstage pass to NewNowNext Awards, the biggest, gayest awards show in history. Now here’s a furry guy for the cubbish eye!

Alex From AfterElton Has A Hangover

Poor Alex gets a stiletto thrown at him as he crawls out of bed. No, he isn’t wearing a sweater. He’s just been neatly (too neatly) trimmed for this video. Obviously we’d rather see him with full-frontal fur instead of just pleasantly fuzzy. And where’s that morning scruff?

Get some more of Alex fur and watch the video…
