Chris March Bears All On Cover Of NY Tyrant
Written by NetBear on November 13, 2008 – 5:04 am -Project Runway designer Chris March wears some truly bearish fashion as he dons a bear suit for the cover of New York Tyrant.

We believe in the power and urgency of the story and the story’s ability to describe and illuminate the interior and exterior landscape: we believe in the power of narrative and its ability to make life more astonishingly alive.
Since 2006 the New York Tyrant has been published as a print journal of short fiction and the occasional poem. Get your issue today at Amazon.com!

Written by BignFuzzy on September 26, 2008 – 3:48 pm -Jonesin’ for more of Jiraiya’s Japanese muscle bears? Thought so. Here’s a hot, hot man with a face to melt your heart. His hotness quota would soar even higher if he left that fur to grow au naturale instead of trimming it, don’t you think?

Still, we forgive him, we’re always a sucker for a strong full beard and a plaid shirt. This man knows how to wear both!

Kathy Griffin Shoots Her Woz With Bear Models
Written by NetBear on July 15, 2008 – 5:39 am -It’s well known that comedian Kathy Gifford Griffin loves “her gays.” So it was a natural that she’d get cozy with the bear community at some point. Shortly before she did a gig for IBR at the historic Castro Theater she did a photo shoot for A Bear’s Life Magazine that has been the talk of both Tinseltown and the blogosphere.

Looking like a piece of sushi all rolled-up in the bear flag, Griffin kept everyone at the photo shoot cutting-up. But guess who she dragged along to impress the bears? Apple co-founder, Kathy’s former boyfriend and billionaire bear Steve Wozniak.

Pinups Magazine Delivers Hot New Furry Talent
Written by NetBear on April 12, 2008 – 5:12 am -We’re really lovin’ a fresh new hirsute photo magazine from New York called Pinpups. Not to date ourselves, but the photography is reminiscent of beefcake mags from a bygone era.

The models are not too buff, not too young, definitely masculine and definitely hairy. The backgrounds, camera angles and lighting are simple but effective. WOOF! Pinups Magazine caught our eye, but good!
See what all the woofing is about…

The Beard Is Back Because Men Want to Be Men
Written by NetBear on February 27, 2008 – 12:00 pm -A recent TIME magazine article speaks about the resurgence of the male beard. The story says that we’re seeing more males in entertainment as well as corporate America dropping their razors and allowing their follicles to grow free and long. Here’s David Letterman looking all burly.

TIME said the beard trend is an act of rebellion and that men are “trying to prove they are no corporate slave,” said Allan Peterkin, a pogonologist, or beard scholar, and author of One Thousand Beards.
