Scottish acting legend and super bear-daddy Sir Sean Connery has celebrated his 78th birthday by launching his memoirs at a sell-out event in Edinburgh.

The former James Bond star, a high-profile Scottish nationalist, launched “Being a Scot” on August 25th, his 78th birthday. Connery is a vocal supporter of the pro-independence Scottish National Party. He lives in the Bahamas and has said he will not reside in Scotland until it gains independence from the United Kingdom.
