Chris March on New York Tyrant

We believe in the power and urgency of the story and the story’s ability to describe and illuminate the interior and exterior landscape: we believe in the power of narrative and its ability to make life more astonishingly alive.

Since 2006 the New York Tyrant has been published as a print journal of short fiction and the occasional poem. Get your issue today at Amazon.com!

Project Runway Romance Between Daniel And WesleyLooks like there’s been some lovin’ going on behind the scenes at Project Runway. Towleroad confirms that a romance has bloomed between Daniel and Wesley, two (gasp) male contestants. Unfortunately Wesley got axxed in last night’s episode. Hmm… Maybe Daniel did a little sabotage under the sheets?

Think about it… Two guys living together, unencumbered by wives or girlfriends, with only an aged butler for company. Was Batman and Robin an undercover homosexual relationship? Pink tights here we come! Read about when Batman was gay.

John WatersGet ready for some more Hairspray! According to Variety John Waters is writing a treatment for a sequel. Just please, PLEASE no more John Travolta, OK? If you can’t find a proper drag queen to play Edna it just isn’t worth the effort. ;)

Over the years artist Brent D. Marr has had crushes on bus drivers, store clerks, teachers, his dentist and a few of his Mom’s boyfriends. He’s translated those experiences into awesome sketches of “the guy next door.” Read his interview at The Complete Bear.

Kathy Griffin’s Assistant Jessica Quits Team GriffinRumor has it that Kathy Griffin’s long-time assistant Jessica Zajicek has quit. So much for the Pocket Goldilocks… We think it’s time for Kathy to have a gay assistant on Team Griffin. Any volunteers?

Torchwood star John Barrowman took a series of tests to determine why he’s gay for a documentary entitled, “The Making of Me.” In it he concludes that, “It was the way I was born. So I embrace it. Because it’s who I am. It’s what I am.” Airing last night in the UK, the three part series of science specials attracted 3.8 million viewers for part 1, beating out Big Brother.

The guys over at Jackass blogged about our Phil Margera appreciation page. They’re just jealous. ;) But until they can grow some fur like Ryan Dunn they won’t be on our radar anytime soon. LOL

Hugh Jackman can be our Teddy Bear any day. Here he is saying bye-bye to his wife at the family home in Sydney. We’re still lovin’ those furrry Wolverine chops.

Beijing’s gay scene is slowly coming out of the closet. The bears are there too.

Keith From Season 5 Of Project Runway Is HotLast week season 5 of Bravo’s Project Runway introduced us to a new batch of hopeful designers, all competing for a chance at fashion greatness. This year there are more openly gay designers in the mix than ever before. But we took an instant shine to cubalicious Keith. He’s so purdy with that scruffy face, tats, nipple rings and those sad puppy-eyes. WOOF! But we’re not the only ones in the blogosphere that seem to think that Keith is a hottie (NSFW).

Over the weekend Dark Knight set a new box office record due largely to the late Heath Ledger’s incredible performance as The Joker. The movie set a one-day box office record with $66.4 million on opening day and is still breaking records.

Hollywood loves comic book heroes. So here comes The Watchmen. Ethan Says has some photos. So does Bear Mythology. Or watch the trailer.
