The River Bear Retreat from Step Out Adventures will give you a chance to enjoy the sun… and scream like a girl on the Class III rapids. Then camp it up for two nights at their 40-acre private campsite that features hot showers, flushing toilets, horseshoes, volleyball and more.

Kathy Griffin Goes “Norma Gay” On Prop 8
Written by NetBear on March 31, 2009 – 7:25 pm -Comedian Kathy Griffin took her D-List show on the road to do a Norma Rae at an anti-Prop 8 rally in Sacramento yesterday.
Griffin then said she was channeling the spirit of Sally Field in Norma Rae, saying her friends call her “Norma Gay,” and held up a sign with the word “union” (which Rae worked to organize) scratched out and the word “marriage” written above it.
