Hollywood Fuzz: George Clooney, Gerard Butler, Jude Law

Written by NetBear on October 10, 2008 – 5:14 am -

It’s been a while since we did a little Hollywood Fuzz on Bearotic. Sometimes it’s not easy to find a handsome celebrity who’s got his fur going on. But this week we found some Hollywood hawtness for ya.

First here’s George Clooney getting some sun in Puerto Rico. Gotta love that scruffy face and the oh so sexy grey in all the right spots.

George Clooney Shirtless

George has been shooting his new film Men Who Stare at Goats. The movie is based on a 2004 book about alleged U.S. military efforts to develop paranormal powers for American soldiers. Clooney plays a U.S. soldier who fights the enemy using ancient Jedi Chinese mind techniques.

See more of Clooney and find out how Gerard Butler has been naughty…

Out And About: Maurice Sendak Gay, Scruffy Ashton, Aussies At Play, Pajama Style, Daniel Radcliffe Exposed, Spore Bore, Becksie Packing

Written by NetBear on September 11, 2008 – 5:37 am -

Maurice Sendak: Where The Wild Things AreThe author of the celebrated children’s book Where The Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak, outed himself in a New York times interview. The originality and emotional honesty of his work forever changed the shape of children’s literature and has no doubt inspired more than one little cub to embrace their inner monster.

Ashton Kutcher On GQ Germany CoverAshton Kutcher got scruffy and fluffy for a GQ Germany cover. The scruff is hot. The fluff is not. But maybe it’s a German OMG-it’s-cold-out-there thing. And some editor is going to catch hell for plopping the ‘S’ from the title on top of Ashton’s head like squiggly hat. Ashton and Justin Timberlake still think they started the trucker lids trend. But we know where they got that. ;)

Lesson learned by one best man in Australia: don’t get on all fours at a bachelor party when there are sex toys in the house. Boy, those Aussies know how to have a good time!

It used to be that the athletic look was in. But now according to the fashionistas the pajama look is the new in look. But they were wearing PJs at the Trocodero long before this fashion trend caught on. Well, as long as it’s comfortable and the model is this guy from Milan.

Daniel Radcliffe (no relation to Jack Radcliffe) made his Broadway debut yesterday as Alan Strang in Equus, a role that requires full frontal nudity. Well of course somebody smuggled out some phone cam photos of a fuzzy Hairy Harry Potter. Daniel’s all grown-up now! You can bet Sarah Palin wants to ban that play too.

Welcome To SporeThe new video game Spore from the creators of The Sims is getting mixed reviews after finally being released after 10 years in the making. “By the time I had most of my world conquered, Spore had begun to feel like the world’s largest kiddie pool: five miles wide and two feet deep.” As the reviewer concludes, Spore’s massive scope might be its own worst enemy. But at least people had a lot of fun with the Creature Creator.

We can all get a good night’s sleep tonight. It has been confirmed that David Backham is packing. Whew!

Dirty Jobs’ Mike Rowe: Bear Or Not?

Written by NetBear on August 7, 2008 – 5:13 am -

As fans of Discover Channel’s Dirty Jobs show will tell you, Mike Rowe is one gorgeous hunk of beefcake. At Bearotic we quite agree! Rowe has grown heterosexual men write him about their man-crushes.

Mike Rowe Bear Or Not

It seems like more often than not Mike finds some excuse to take his shirt off in the show. He gets into the dirtiest situations but always seems to keep his cool. (Well, almost always…) With a beefy, furry body and a bearish sense of humor, we have to ask… Bear or Not?

See graphic evidence of Mike Rowe’s bearish qualities…

Folklore as far back as the 1400s tells us that Little John was Robin Hood’s right hand man or second in command. In the BBC television series Robin Hood Gordon Kennedy is perfect as the big swashbuckling no-nonsense grizzly bear.

Written by NetBear on May 9, 2008 – 5:59 am -

Erica Bana has previously graced the pages of Bearotic in all his randy Henry the 8th glory. But Joaquin Phoenix got in on the scruffy action too in the new issue of Italian Vanity Fair magazine.

Bank Job Or Wank Job — It Depends On How You Look At It

Written by BignFuzzy on March 18, 2008 – 5:57 pm -

We’ve all seen Jason Statham in movies like Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Jason is maturing very nicely and in his new movie Bank Job he’s more rugged and “rough trade” than ever.

Written by NetBear on March 6, 2008 – 5:00 am -

The new Indiana Jones movie is due to be released on May 22nd. But it’s been quite a while since the last installment of the series. While Harrison Ford has gotten older and his scruffy beard is no doubt a lot more grey, he’s still got that “scruffy nerf-herder” appeal that drives everyone crazy.

ZZ Top Showing In Some Sharp Dressed Coveralls

Written by BignFuzzy on February 27, 2008 – 5:00 am -

Here’s a great clip of ZZ Top’s live appearance on TV from 1983. If ya dig that bluesy rock guitar then you’ll love this clip.

For me, though, the extra bonus is from about 04:55 onwards. You’ll see just what a sharp dressed man Dusty Hill, the bass player, really is. Those coveralls are definitely Under Pressure. WOOF!

No, we’re not talking about the dessert from Chef on Southpark. Chocolatesaltyballs (NSFW) have a range of t-shirts with slogans like “Hell Yeah Man!” and “Yeah, Good Boy, Yeah!”. Their shirts come in sizes up to XXL for Dads too.

With some designs inspired by cartoon characters, the Chocsalt versions of He-man and Skeletor clearly have a dominance/submissive thing going on. Here’s one cub who’s looking at Daddy with a little too much attitude. “Young man needs takin’ in hand!”

New Star Trek Movie Pushed Back To 2009

Written by NetBear on February 19, 2008 – 8:00 pm -

Attention all Trekie bears: We hate to tell you, but Paramount is pushing back the release of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” from Dec. 25 to May 8, 2009, saying the film’s gross potential is greater as a summer tent pole.

Star Trek Movie Poster

“Star Trek” has no competition in its new slot — at least not so far, although it opens one week after 20th Century Fox bows “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and one week before Sony is slated to bow sequel “Angels and Demons.”

See why we’re excited to see more of of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine…
