Pioneering synthepop musician Howard Jones is finishing up a new album called Ordinary Heroes. Here he is in the studio getting a little sentimental about wrapping up the recording.
DJ Earworm does a Beautiful Mashup on Sean Kingston.
This is a hilarious look into the Star Trek universe and what if they used Microsoft Windows on the Enterprise? Make sure you listen to the audio queues. And Clippy makes a cameo appearance!
RobbieK loves to dance. Here he is doing his own bear Celebration to the Madonna track. Oooohhh… All that rotating is making me dizzy though!

Go-go dancers from the mid-20th century on a 22nd century spaceship? Bone(r)s to the bridge!
Hmm… Star Wars vs. Star Trek… Who would win? No competition whatsoever. After all, northern California is Lucasfilm territory.
He’s probably going to be the next YouTube sensation. It’s Henry, the amazing techno dancing boy! I bet he eats Captain Crunch for breakfast with four spoons of sugar on top.
Daniel Whitney is Larry the Cable Guy was before he became a redneck. He looks SO MUCH better with the goatee, right?

Obama Goes Vulcan To Rescue Read Matter
Written by NetBear on May 12, 2009 – 11:50 am -Instead of swooping in to rescue the world from red matter, as Spock does in J. J. Abrams’s dazzling Star Trek, is President Obama going “Spock” to rescue read matter for the world?

Newspapers have become an “endangered species,” just as the Vulcans are in the new prequel. And Barack Spock likes his reads. An aide said during the presidential campaign that Mr. Obama would get cranky if he didn’t have some time set aside for The New York Times.
Read more at… The New York Times. See!? It’s already working. Soon The Times might be a gay owned paper anyways.

Out And About: Bossy Sculpture, Hirsute Intelligence, Beefy Crowe, The Kirk List, Harley Phoenix
Written by NetBear on May 11, 2009 – 4:38 pm -
There’s something hot and sexy about the artistic creations coming from Bossy Sculpture. Is it the big, bearded blokes with shirts that can barely cover their massive pecs? Or is it those big, furry bellies? I think it’s a lot of both.
We always knew that the bears are an intelligent lot. But we never knew there was a relationship between body hair and intelligence in men. Dr Aikarakudy Alias says that hairy chests are more likely to be found amongst doctors and the highly educated than in the general population. I knew it!
Entertainment Weekly has done a list of Star Trek Captain Kirk’s 20 Best and Worst Moments. I snickered at a few of ‘em, like baby Balok from The Corbomite Maneuver, the scenery-devouring cry of ”KHAAAAAAAN!” from Trek II: Wrath of Khan, and of course The Trouble with Tribbles.

Harley Phoenix (totally NSFW) is on a hirsute pursuit to make the raunchiest dance music you’ve ever heard. He takes samples of porn soundtracks and wraps them neatly in a pulsing wrapper of trip hop. The end result is a beat that sounds like Mack taking a bottom for a test drive. Oh… That’s because it is Mack saying those sweet nasties in our ear.
Everybody has a couple of these to show off. Or rather, a few of these they want to get therapy for the rest of their lives. You won’t be able to stop clicking on these Awkward Family Photos.

You can run… But you can’t hide. Seth McFarlane has officially announced plans a Family Guy movie.
Want to gain weight fast? Ask “where’s the beef?” to Russell Crow and he’ll tell ya… Right in his belly! He gained a whopping 63 pounds for his role as CIA boss Ed Hoffman in Body Of Lies. What was his secret? He was munchy-wunching on cheeseburgers for breakfast and polishing them off with a cupcake or two. Woot!
People Magazine got a shot of Robert Downey Jr. this week on the Iron Man 2 set shooting a scene for the action film. Looks like the suit has been updated a bit.

Go Commando To Avoid Kingon Wedgies
Written by NetBear on May 8, 2009 – 5:51 am -“Kingons” have arrived on earth in search of the precious Dilithium Crystals in the Burger King collectible Star Trek glasses. What the heck are Kingons? They’re the love child of The King & female Klingons and they’re gonna take your dignity in order to take your glass.

It sounds like another hamburger commercial. But it’s actually a very amusing marketing campaign. The video instructions you’ll get from the humpy Star Fleet cadet will help you avoid getting a Neon Nurple, a Warp 5 Wedgie and other Kingon attacks. For example, above going commando thwarts the Warp 5 Wedgie.
You can keep your glass if you are willing to give up something else you care about. Go commando whenever possible.

Do you know the location of Ambassador Spock?
They’re looking for an “Ambassador Spock.” But, umm… Spock is a PYT wet behind the ears Vulcan in Star Fleet right now. Oooooohhhh…

Zachary Quinto Could Be Leonard Nimoy’s Son

The resemblance is uncanny, don’t you think? That’s really REALLY good casting. The new Star Trek movie premieres in the United States on May 7th.
Did you know that Leonard Nimoy is also a Photographer?

Star Trek Model Gallery Has Funk And Punk
Written by NetBear on April 19, 2009 – 5:02 pm -Respected graffiti, FX and pop artists from all over the world have put their essence into interpretations of the USS Enterprise at the Star Trek Model Gallery.

These 34-inch-long replicas of the USS Enterprise were cast from actual 3D digital models created for the film by Industrial Light & Matgic. The models will begin touring the world starting in March.
One of our favorites was the model done by the team of Jeremy and Claire Weiss above. They created the Enterprise 19 with roller skate wheels. What a wild board that would make, right?
