Britain’s Next Bear Model, Episode 7 — First Half
Written by NetBear on November 12, 2008 – 5:12 am -We’re almost down to the wire! In this first half of the last episode we find out who the final three finalists are. Do you think your favorite contestant will be one of them?
Some Brit bears on the street mull over the contestants, giving a critique of the glamor photos. But then we get a recap of the guys making their swimsuit debut on stage. That scene also includes the, at times, disastrous interviews. Sean tantalizes the crowd by almost taking it all off. Raff DOES take it all off!
Before you know it the three finalists are announced. We’re not going to give it away who they are. Have a look and see which three are still in the running for Britain’s Next Bear Model.

Britain’s Next Bear Model, Episode 6
Written by NetBear on November 6, 2008 – 11:05 am -This is the second to last episode of the competition and it’s time to see which of the bears will be in the final three. But as the tension builds things are getting a little dramatic for some of the guys.
In this episode the bears get put on stage in front of a crowd wearing outfits that reflect their personalities and will hopefully get them votes. Yes, we’re talking leather, spandex and jockstraps of course.
I don’t care anymore really. I’m tired. I’m scared. And I just want to go home.
Note to self. When on stage in a competition and asked what your inner animal is DON’T answer “a tapeworm.” LOL! Poor guy is really frazzled. Some bears just aren’t cut out for the weight of the sash.
In the next episode we get to see the bears paraded back on stage. This time wearing next to nothing in the swimsuit/underwear show. Then we will find out who is Britain’s Next Bear Model!

Will Ferrell Pranks USC Team As Captain Compete

Pete Carroll and a scruffy Will Ferrell pulled a Halloween prank on the USC Football team that included Ferrell as superhero Captain Compete, a man on fire and a faked death.
But what the heck was that thing Ferrell pulled out of his crotch and handed to the coach? Maybe a well-warmed good luck charm? Later in the video he seems to explain it as a laser beam that he can fire from his crotch. Gotcha. We’re sure wacky Will kicked-up the spirits of the whole football team.

Sisters Make A Hot Furry Mess At Lazy Bear 2008
Written by NetBear on August 5, 2008 – 5:16 am -On the first day of Lazy Bear 2008 the setting at the Russian River Resort was calm, serene and relaxed. Guys were sunning leisurely by the pool, unaware that the fur was about to fly.
When the Russian River Sisters showed-up on the scene, the mood changed pretty quickly into a fur-charged, creamy afternoon treat. The Sisters were putting on one of their Pie Throwing Contest fund raisers using volunteers pulled from the crowd.
And as you might imagine, the Sisters do things a little differently. In this kind of Pie Throwing Contest people bid for the chance to throw a pie tin of whipped cream somewhere on the volunteer’s body.

Lazy Bear Weekend Goes Celestial
Written by BignFuzzy on July 30, 2008 – 12:28 pm -This year’s Lazy Bear Weekend will be a little different. Usually we have Pyro’s bonfires, a great opportunity to go back to our roots and gather around the fire under the stars, all very primal and tribal.
Harry and Pyro tried their best to promise a controlled environment within which to make the bonfires safe. In the end though, California’s Department of Parks and Wildlife has issued a ban on open fires due to the shear amount of wildfires we’ve been having.
All is not lost though. Take away the element of fire and you’ve still got air and water left. Hush Hush Sweet Smokey is gonna be held at the same estate that hosts Sunday Furry Sunday, right across the street from the old Fife’s. There’s a pool for dippin’, a bar for sippin’, lotsa bears for grippin’ and a sky full o’ stars for trippin’.
Just bring along your swimsuit and towel, a flashlight and what/whoever you like to use to keep yourself cosy. Sounds like nocturnal bliss to us, and you still might bump into one or two old flames 
Hopefully the lovely Pyro will be back with his fiery fun next year!
