Ed O’Neill Moon Landing In The Locker Room
Written by NetBear on February 13, 2010 – 1:24 pm -The Brotherhood of Bears have been discussing some TV bears that showed-up in a recent episode of ABC’s Modern Family. Ed O’Neill bumps into a tough guy with a goatee while undressing in the locker room.

We’re not sure what the tough guy character said in this scene. But we were woofing at the prospects of doing a “moon landing” (bumping) with Ed’s rear end… even pixelated!

Written by NetBear on February 11, 2010 – 11:25 am -
Soap up with Old Spice Swagger and your arm will get muscle-bound and grow a tattoo. Hmm… Wonder what happens if you use it on your private parts?
What’s bearded, burly and rock & rolls in a virtual universe? It’s Elijah Black as his virtual self in a new music video for Drive-Bye.
What kind of incentive might drive guys to take off all their clothes at work? It’s a lot simpler than you think!
We’ve introduced you to Buster and his balloon-busting interests. Here he is tackling a Qualatex 24″ balloon. It’s gonna blow!

Superbowl Ads Have No Pants
Written by NetBear on February 8, 2010 – 12:10 pm -This year the SuperBowl ads just weren’t a whole lot of fun from the Bearotic perspective. They weren’t quite as sexy as last year’s SoBe spot with big, hunky Matt Light. There were, however, some beardy surprises. For example, Dockers seems to think that men just don’t wear pants anymore.
We’re seemingly encouraged by Dockers to cast our pants to the wind and walk proudly in our underwear. Sounds good to us!

Fish On Jason Kibbey, Fluevog Sale, Where To Get Plaid, Plaid For Spring
Written by NetBear on February 1, 2010 – 3:59 pm -Interview with Jason Kibbey of PACT — Part 2
This is part two of a two part interview with Jason Kibbey, CEO & Co-founder of Berekely-based PACT Apparel Inc. Read part 1 here.
KF - Do you have other products in mind for PACT? (I know I’d like to see some nice, soft shirts and maybe some jammy-pants. Just saying.)
JK - We want to really lead with great underwear and perfect our ability to make and sell great underwear and then we’ll think about making more products. We only will make products the world needs, and we won’t make crap it doesn’t need. As an environmentalist, one of the reasons we got into the underwear business is that it is something that everyone needs (some of my extremely crunchy friends disagree…) and if you are going to buy it, why not buy it sustainably in a way that allows you to wear your values?
Don’t forget about the “pactheartsfish” 25% DISCOUNT code!

Uncommon Protection
Last year the bounds of what is and is not an accessory for men got stretched a little as an ever-increasing number of us picked up and started carrying around various devices, gadgets and items of convenience. The way I see it is if you have something like a Flip video camera, mobile phone or e-reader on your person for part or all of your day, this thing, by default, is an accessory. As the market for accessories of this type grows, the market for accessories for your accessories grows, too.

Fundoshi Behind The Scenes With David And Po
Written by NetBear on January 14, 2010 – 5:26 am -Wouldn’t it have been fun to be a fly on the wall while the camera filmed muscle bear David Goldenberg tying a Fundoshi on Po-Shih Wang?

It’s a little tight…
Did they film the video in just one take? Or did they have to make a few attempts? Successfully tying a Fundoshi takes a little practice. And measuring it to look right on a guy takes a few tries. We don’t mind! Also, David has some wardrobe failure difficulties getting his own Fundoshi to look just right.
