The fashion industry is abuzz with the news that designer Vivienne Westwood sent a bear model down the runway in her recent Milan fashion show. So much for starving skinny boys in fashion. Let the bears take over!

The model’s name is Sergio Lo Re who’s an actor and bodyguard turned fashion model. But what people didn’t realize at first was that there is much more than just a bear-necessities in this fashion statement. There was a heavy dose of politics involved.
