Bob Mould Band On Tour In October

He’s been busy getting ready to take The Bob Mould Band on tour next month. The band kicks off the tour in Toronto at The Mod Club on October 5th and wrap up in San Diego at Belly Up.

In between, they make stops at Irving Plaza in New York City, the 9:30 Club in DC, Troubadour in Los Angeles, and more.

Wanda Sykes Rips Washington A New One
Written by NetBear on May 10, 2009 – 7:20 pm -One of our favorite comedians, Wanda Sykes, did a smack-down performance at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last night. Unlike most of the people in the room, she wasn’t afraid to poke fun at some of the taboo topics of the beltway; like race, “Bush broke a lot of stuff” and the president’s nipples.

Sykes has become the first African-American women and the first openly gay person to ever perform jokes at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. But some of the sensitive politicos are aghast that Sykes dared to skewer Rush Limbaugh for his saying he hopes this administration fails.
