Wolverine Got Milk In New Ad Campaign

Written by NetBear on April 15, 2009 – 6:42 pm -

The always hunky Hugh Jackman is featured in a new ad for Body by Milk as the whiskery Wolverine from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Wolverine Has Got Milk

The copy says, “My power to regenerate might be top secret but my ability to re-energize is simple. Milk has protein to help build muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to help you refuel. So, eat right, train hard and drink lowfat milk. That’s just common mutant sense.”

Why do I suddenly crave… Milk, white tank tops and whisker nuzzles? Mmmm… That’s some star selling power!

Written by NetBear on March 5, 2009 – 12:58 pm -

I remember the first time I picked-up a copy of the original BEAR magazine. It was quite an eye-opener to see photos of blue-collar, working-class, masculine men — all proudly sporting body and facial hair. Looking back, that was probably the beginning of today’s bear community.

Lord Of The Beard Says You Can’t Grow Just One

Written by NetBear on November 2, 2008 – 11:51 am -

In honor of November being National Beard Growing Month we’ve found a guy who will inspire you to abandon your razor. 35-year-old Jon Dyer is on a quest — a mission, if you will. He wants to grow every style of beard imaginable.

Lord Of The Beard Jon Dyer

He’s spent the last ten years grooming his facial hair as a hobby and has managed to achieve 25 of the 34 styles “unofficially recognized” by the beard community. That’d be us bears, right? We decided we’d (eh hem) pick-apart some of Jon’s beards.

Little Mosque On The Prairie Has Bears To Spare

Written by BignFuzzy on May 19, 2008 – 2:34 pm -

If you live in Canada or can receive CBC television then you might have seen an interesting series called Little Mosque On The Prairie. It’s a comedy about the lives of a Muslim community in the prairie town of Mercy. It is perhaps a little too “edgy” for some. But hey, there’s some nice bear eye candy to look at and we’re always up for some of that!

characters from little mosque on the prairie

You’ve got L to R, Neil Crone, Carlo Rota and Manoj Sood, all playing totally different types of characters but with one thing in common: Fuzzy chops and a high cuteness quota. Oh yeah, that’s two things.

Take a closer look at these bearded actors and the characters they play…
