Written by NetBear on June 19, 2009 – 5:04 am -Remember when Zachary Quinto got his video portrait done by photographer/director Tyler Shields? The resulting video has become the unofficial video for Without A Light by Brooklyn-based electro-pop trio, Plushgun.
The minute the clip hit youtube, the band’s label (Tommy Boy), saw a spike in sales, surely due to fans all hot ‘n’ squirmy for a little Plushgun of their own. Tyler Shields also shot the video for Plushgun’s hit single, Just Impolite. Catch Plushgun on tour this summer with Nightmare Of You.

Zachary Quinto Could Be Leonard Nimoy’s Son

The resemblance is uncanny, don’t you think? That’s really REALLY good casting. The new Star Trek movie premieres in the United States on May 7th.

New Star Trek Movie Get MPAA Rating
Written by NetBear on April 3, 2009 – 5:42 pm -Today Paramount announce that the new Star Trek movie received an MPAA Rating of PG-13 for sci-fi action and violence and brief sexual content. They also trickled-out a few more still photos to whet our appetites.
What do you want to bet that it is Kirk who demonstrates the “brief sexual content.” Spock is too young to go into Pon Far, right? Above young Kirk (Chris Pine) faces off with Spock (Zachary Quinto) as red lights go off. Another emergency to deal with. It’s probably Nero (Eric Bana) entering their space.

You remember Eric Bana and his big codpiece from the Boleyn Girl movie? It’s hard to believe that it’s the same actor, eh?

New Star Trek Movie Enterprise First Look
Written by NetBear on November 14, 2008 – 2:32 pm -It’s going to be a Star Trek kind of summer when the new Star Trek movie releases. Until then Trekkies will have to be satisfied with some still shots from the newest chapter in Federation history.
Since the new movie takes place well before the original Star Trek series in the time line the entire cast got recast with fresh, new actors. Above we have Chris Pine as James T. Kirk. No, he’s not a captain yet. And it’s easy to identify Spock played by Zachary Quinto, AKA Sylar from TV’s Heroes series.
